Herriman (Utah) offensive tackle Andre James (6-5, 275), will be back in Southern California this coming weekend.

"I went to UCLA and USC back in March, but this weekend, I'm going back out there," said James. "One of my friends is doing the camps, so I'm going out there with him."

While James won't camp at either, he's looking forward to spending time with the coaches at each school.

"UCLA and USC are both recruiting me pretty hard," said James. "Coach (Adrian) Klemm and Coach (Taylor) Mazzone are recruiting me for UCLA and came by in the spring. Coach (Tim) Drevno and Coach Tui (Marques Tuiasosopo) are recruiting me for USC."

James said he also plans to visit both schools officially.

"I'm going to take all five of my official visits to the out-of-state schools and then visit Utah unofficially," said James.

While no dates are set, the out-of-state schools include UCLA and USC as well as Ohio State, Oklahoma and Oregon.

He visited Ohio State earlier this week.

"It went really well," said James. "I went there for one day and met with Coach (Urban) Meyer. It was really cool."

James said he'll wait to visit Oklahoma and Oregon until his official visits.

Next up after his trip to Southern California is a week in Beaverton at The Opening.

"I'm so excited and just counting down the days until it happens," said James. "It's a competitors dream to go against the best and some of the best player in the nation."
