Holland Favors Three

Florida's Jeff Holland, one of the most-sought outside linbacker prospects in the nation, has been at Florida's big recruiting event, Friday Night Lights, and intends to get to the west coast Monday...

Four-star recruit Jeff Holland is one of the most coveted linebacker prospects in the country. He has currently been in Gainesville visiting the University of Florida.

”I have been here three or four days and just hanging out,” Holland said. “I have been chilling with the players and watching workouts. It’s mainly been Vernon Hargreaves, Nick Washington, and Marcell Harris. We have all been hanging and having fun.”

Seeing the Florida players work and interacting with some of the coaches has impressed the nation’s No. 6-ranked outside linebacker prospect.

“I have seen that all of these guys work very hard. This is a hard-working program,” Holland said. “And I like the coaches and how they coach.”

Holland, 6-foot-3, 220 pounds, says the Gators is definitely one of the schools he's considering seriously.

” Florida is pretty high on my list,” Holland said. “UCLA and Auburn are right there. Those are my top three. I don’t know when I will make my commitment. I don’t think it will be before season. I will make my official visits."

Holland has said he intends to unofficially visit UCLA Monday.
