Players Held Out of San Bernardino

Three football players were not allowed to participate in fall camp in San Bernardino, which starts today...

Three freshmen -- Aaron Sharp, Dwight Williams and Jordan Lasley -- will not be participating in fall camp in San Bernardino, according to a good source.

All three violated a team policy, and it was best described as the players not "meeting the responsibility" to participate.

All three freshmen weren't expected to have a great chance to contribute this season. Sharp, a 6-3 quarterback from Houston, Tex., is almost certainly destined for a redshirt year. Williams, a linebacker, and Lasley, a receiver, both, from Gardena Serra, were thought to have an outside chance to make the depth chart but it was unlikely.

The source indicated that all three will begin to participate in practice when the football team returns to Westwood August 18th.
