At the moment, Spring (Tex.) defensive tackle Bravvion Roy has six offers. But based on the interest in him that could change quickly.
Apparently, several programs have said that after September 1 they intend to recruit the four-star prospect even harder.
“UCLA (coaches) said that they intent to keep recruiting me. Also, Stanford, Texas A&M and Kentucky too,” Roy said.
The explosive and relentless class of 2016 defensive tackle was not able to get out to any programs this summer, citing that he worked out with his teammates most of the off-season. But for this upcoming fall, there are a couple of programs the prospect would like to see in person.
One of which will require a flight and the other, a short drive up Highway 290 west.
“I will probably get out to Texas A&M and hopefully UCLA. Those are the two schools I want to check out right now,” the 6-foot-3, 320-pound Roy said. “Those are two of the schools that are recruiting me the hardest.”
Texas, Louisville, Baylor, Syracuse, Illinois and Missouri are the offers he has in hand at the moment, but as stated, that is not likely to last for much longer.
“Missouri is a school I am in contact with a lot. I would say those coaches are recruiting me hard too,” Roy said.
Roy is going into his junior year and has a couple of goals in mind: make the playoffs and be the No. 1 defense in the district.
