VIDEO: Rosen in Week One

AUG. 26 -- UCLA-committed quarterback Josh Rosen was excellent in week one, leading St. John Bosco to victory over Fred Ulu-Perry and St. Louis...

Josh Rosen (6'3.5/206) is Scout's No. 1 quarterback for the Class of 2015. He helped lead St. John Bosco to an undefeated 2013 season and has the Braves ranked No. 3 in the Scout Top 50. Bosco lost a boatload of talent to the college ranks last year including team leaders Jaleel Wadood (UCLA) and Damien Mama (USC).

Rosen has taken over the leadership role on a young, but talented Bosco squad with aplomb. He is calm, confident, and an extremely gifted thrower. He has the size to move the chains or punch in a short run when running the read option, and his right arm is as good as anyone that has come out of high school the last several years.

Rosen and Bosco took a trip to take on St. Louis High School in Honolulu last Friday, and Rosen looked like a quarterback who has been working all Spring and Summer. He was sharp.

Here is a look at him in action from his first game as a senior:
