VIDEO: Odighizuwa Talks First Game

AUG. 28 -- Owamagbe Odighizuwa is prepared for his first game since 2012...

Owamagbe Odighizuwa:

On the difference Kenny Clark makes:
It makes a huge difference, especially for d-line play. It helps stopping the run, so he's been big for us.

On returning to the field:
I'm very excited. I've waited long enough. Putting everything behind me at this point and I'm ready to play.

On if he's nervous:
Not at all. I'm just excited to play.

On Virginia:
They're very patient explosive running backs and well coached. Watching them on film, they read their blocks before they push up field. They're good and impressive.

On Virginia's offensive line:
That's what I hear but I think it's going to be a good game we have to bring our best. They're trying to put last year behind them but I think it will be good competition for us.

On Virginia's quarterback:
Both of them bring two different games. Obviously as a pass rusher, you don't want someone who scrambles, but playing Virginia, I don't know what they'll give us so we might see both of them, so I'm preparing for both of them.

On goals as a pass-rusher:
I don't have a set goal as far as numbers. You never know how the season goes. But every down and pass rush I'm doing as if I'm going to get a sack. Every pass rush is with a purpose. It could be 13, it could be 20, it could be 18.
