Committed to UCLA

The Skinny: The five-star is the top prospect in Nevada and one of the most athletic and well-rounded tight ends to come out of the region in years.

2. Tyler Petite, 6-5, 225, Moraga (Calif.) Campolindo
Committed to Duke

The Skinny: The top tight end in Northern California, Petite is a fantastic pass-catcher who surprised many when he picked Duke, but figures to be an early impact player for the Blue Devils.

3. Kyle Penniston, 6-4, 220, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei
Committed to Wisconsin

The Skinny: SoCal's top tight end prospect, he follows in the footsteps of Thomas Duarte as another top pass-catching tight end for the Monarchs.

4. Noah Togiai, 6.5, 215, West Valley (Utah) Hunter
Committed to Utah

The Skinny: One of the best two-sport players in the region, Togiai is committed to Utah to play basketball but several schools are trying to convince him to play football in college.

5. Jamie Nunley, 6-4, 212, Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta
Committed to Arizona

The Skinny: Nunley is one of the better receiving tight ends to come out of the Inland Empire and has taken strides as a blocker as well.

The Skinny: One of the best receivers, regardless of class, the past three years in the West, Kirk is one of the best playmakers in the entire country.

2. Equanimeous St. Brown, 6-5, 191, Anaheim (Calif.) Servite
Considering Notre Dame, Stanford, UCLA and USC

The Skinny: The jump he took this spring and summer has made St. Brown one of the most coveted pass-catchers in the country.

3. Trent Irwin, 6-2, 191, Newhall (Calif.) Hart
Considering Arizona State, Stanford and UCLA

The Skinny: May be the most polished, reliable and consistent receiver in the country, few players have been as steady and trusted as Irwin.

4. L.J. Reed, 6-3, 200, Lodi (Calif.) Tokay
Committed to UCLA

The Skinny: A big, physical presence at receiver, Reed is one of the best two-sport athletes in the West, a double-double averaging basketball player too.

5. Cordell Broadus, 6-2.5, 192, Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman
Considering Arizona State, Florida State, Notre Dame, UCLA and USC

The Skinny: Making a name for himself as a pretty good football player, he's now in Nevada and is set to be a part of a pretty talented Gorman squad.

The Skinny: Lovette can play in the slot as a receiver or be a multi-carry a game running back and is one of the more versatile backs in the region, much like another back from Redlands East Valley seven years ago, Chris Polk.

2. Cameron Scarlett, 6-1, 210, Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic
Considering Notre Dame, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA and Washington

The Skinny: The top back in the Northwest and Oregon's top prospect in this class, Scarlett has a blend of power, vision and speed that make him one of the most difficult backs to bring down.

3. Myles Gaskin, 5-9.5, 185, Seattle (Wash.) O'Dea
Committed to Washington

The Skinny: Gaskin committed early on to the hometown Huskies and is one of the fastest and shiftiest backs in the region.

4. Bolu Olorunfunmi, 5-11, 210, Fresno (Calif.) Clovis North
Committed to UCLA

The Skinny: Built like a power back but still runs light on his feet, Bolu did a number of camps this spring and summer and looked better each time.

5. Kirk Johnson, 5-11, 190, San Jose (Calif.) Valley Christian
Committed to Texas

The Skinny: The future Longhorn committed early to his father's alma mater, then went to the Oakland NFTC and was the SPARQ MVP, showing the athleticism and skill set that made him a priority for Texas.
