An Eagles defense, led by UCLA commit Rick Wade, harrassed Alabama commit Blake Barnett into a 17-of-37 for 158 yards performance.

Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco def. Norwalk (Calif.), 48-3
In their first game back in the state they're the defending champions of, the Braves cruised to a 45-point win over an overmatched Norwalk squad. La Puente (Calif.) Bishop Amat def Aledo (Texas), 42-7
Amat traveled down to the Lone Star State to take on one of the best in Texas and left with the remains of a laugher. The Lancers scored 28 points in the second quarter and cruised to a 35-point win. UCLA target Ryan Newsome was held to just 38 all-purpose yards against Amat, matching up often against Trevon Sidney, a 2016 UCLA target. Tyler Vaughns had a 36-yard touchdown reception in the game.

Herriman (Utah) def. West Valley City (Utah) Hunter, 34-6
In a matchup in Utah that featured a Pac-12 commit on both sides, UCLA verbal Andre James and Herriman took the win over Hunter and tight end Noah Togiai, a Utah pledge. Honolulu (Hawaii) St. Louis def. Honolulu (Hawaii) Pac-Five, 60-13
After a nightmare start to the season, which saw them play both California and Hawaii's defending state champions, St. Louis had a much easier game and took out their frustrations on Pac-Five, winning by 47. North Shore could have used UCLA freshmen Najee Toran and Zach Whitley, as they were thumped by Manvel and UCLA cornerback commit William Lockett, 42-17.

Long Beach (Calif.) Poly def. Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne, 34-21
Thanks to another big night by new UCLA offeree Joseph Wicker, the Jackrabbits defense helped them rally to a win over the Gauchos. Wicker had four more sacks and forced two fumbles, one on a strip sack, giving him 10 sacks and four forced fumbles on the season. Taylor and 109 yards on five catches from junior receiver Javon McKinley. Keisean Lucier-South had eight tackles, two tackles for loss and a pass deflection in the loss.

Honolulu (Hawaii) Punahou def. Honolulu (Hawaii) Damien, 52-6

Christian running back T.J. Simmons is out for the season with a broken leg and missed a 21-20 win over West Palm Beach (Fla.) Oxbridge Academy. Lodi (Calif.) Tokay receiver L.J. Reed is still out after transferring from Cosumnes Oaks and didn't play in a 57-13 win against Stockton (Calif.) Bear Creek.
