Scout Eval: Tell is hyper athletic and covers a ton of ground. Has excellent speed, can jump out of the gym and is a natural fit as a free safety. Could easily swing over and play some corner as well and has excellent cover skills. Shows great quickness closing on the ball and has very good ball skills. He’s a physical player who has an edge to him. He’s not the biggest safety but is very physical and doesn’t shy from coming in and laying the wood.

Quotable: "Right now, I don't have a leader, I like all these schools. I plan to take all these trips and then once I'm done, I'll sit back and evaluate everything and go from there." - Marvel Tell

Those selected will play in the annual East vs. West match-up on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The game will be televised live on NBC at 1 p.m. EST and will feature the nation’s top 90 high school football players.
“Marvell and all of the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Bowl players were selected not only for their ability on the football field, but also because they demonstrate mental, emotional and physical toughness – similar strengths to those of our Army Soldiers,” said Mark S. Davis, deputy assistant secretary of the Army for marketing. “We are pleased to welcome these talented athletes to this year’s showcase of athleticism, teamwork and excellence and we congratulate each of them on their selection.”

BRO RECRUITING NOTE: Tell is one of UCLA's primary safety targets and the word is that it could come down to a UCLA/USC battle for him.
