Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei 2016 offensive tackle Frank Martin (6-6, 300), is in double digits for offers in the early stages of his junior year.
A couple of Pac-12 schools and an SEC school are after Martin the hardest right now.
“Arizona State and UCLA are coming at me extremely hard and I’m hearing a lot from LSU right now and they’re trying to get me to come out to the SEC,” said Martin. “But really, the Pac-12 schools are coming at me the hardest.”
UCLA is making a big push with Martin.
“Coach (Adrian) Klemm is a great coach,” said Martin. “He’s my favorite offensive line coach of all of them.”
Martin, though, said he’s not in any position to narrow his list or rush things.
“I’m in no rush right now,” said Martin. “I’m going to take my time.”
Martin and the Monarchs had a thrilling win over Westlake (Calif.) last Thursday, with coaches from Washington, UCLA and Duke looking on, their final game before they have a rematch of the CIF-SS Finals with St. John Bosco.
“We believed and like Coach (Bruce) Rollinson said, if we provide the effort and keep fighting, that will determine the outcome,” said Martin.
The four-star is the No. 12 ranked offensive tackle nationally by Scout.com in the 2016 class.
