Equanimeous St. Brown is a great looking receiver who already looks the part of what you want to see in a college pass catcher. He's all of 6-5, well put together and a plus athlete as well. He can run and jump, has strong hands and if he can continue to improve his overall toughness and compete level, there's no reason why he can't be an early impact player in college.
As for who might be leading for him right now, good luck guessing that. We were at Servite Wednesday and even his teammates shake their head and say they have no idea where the receiver is leaning.
The main contenders right now appear to be Notre Dame, UCLA, USC and Utah although there is some question how hard the two local schools are recruiting him right now. He has already visited Notre Dame and will check out Utah this weekend.
"I'm looking forward to seeing Utah, they're coming on," St. Brown said. "I like their team, they're having a good season and have been impressive. They're balanced and like to mix things up so I'm excited to get out there and see what the place is all about. They offered my two younger brothers but it will just be me and my dad on the visit. They're playing Oregon so it should be a great game and a real fun atmosphere."
St. Brown said he doesn't have any other trips lined up right now and is in no hurry to make a decision.
"The visit to Notre Dame was good, I enjoyed it a lot," St. Brown said. "It's a good school and I felt comfortable there. I'm not sure about the rest of my visit schedule right now. I know I'll be at the UCLA-USC game and the USC- Notre Dame game in the next few weeks but as for official visits, I don't have anything locked in at the moment."
