VIDEO: Hundley on USC Week

Nov. 17 -- Brett Hundley talks about the potential of winning a third straight game over USC...

Brett Hundley on Rivalry Week:

On the chance to go 3-0 against USC as a starter:
It would mean a lot. To be able to look back and say I was undefeated against Southern Cal. At the same time, the focus is on us and getting a victory.

On what a third straight victory would mean:
I guess when you keep piling up wins, it becomes more resounding, so to be able to get another one would be nice.

On if they feel like they get credit for two in a row:
It is what it is and the past two years, we've gotten wins, but to get another one would be nice. We got credit, we won the game.

On where he was when Arizona State lost to Oregon State:
I was athome and I woke up to the news. I was asleep.

On his reaction to that:
I was happy. Oregon State is a good team. When you go in to Oregon State that late at night, it's a hard place to play.

On if there was a relief knowing that winning the Pac-12 South is in their hands:
Yeah, when you know everything you have to do is back, you don't have to worry about anyone else.

On his feelings on the CFB Committee:
Its just more rankings I guess. At the end of the day, the top four go to the playoffs.

On if they're a different team than when they lost to Utah and Oregon:
We're the same team, we've just grown a little bit more. The penalties, we didn't really have any against Washington.

On what his legacy would be if he beat USC three times:
It would be huge, obviously, to look back on and walk away from here. But we have to get that third win, and that's what we're focusing on.

On USC:
They're a really good team, they've done well and we have to take it like another game, be prepared for Saturday.

On Cody Kessler:
He's a good quarterback and good leader. He's done well for himself this year. He's a good man. It will be fun to play him.

On what he expects from USC's defense:
We'll have to see on Saturday. They can blitz and drop back in coverage and we have to be prepared.

On if they have to worry about hype again:
No, we don't really care about that. We have to play football and win some games.

On Su'a Cravens:
He's a good player, a really good defensive player. He'll be a player we'll go against. We have to do our job.

On if there is a buzz on campus:
When rivalry week comes, there is always a buzz. Its going to be a fun week but we have to stay clear.

On the rivalry:
We're just going to focus on the game.

On USC's opening quarters:
We have to come out and play football, that's what it will come down to.
