VIDEO: Duarte on Receivers

Nov. 23 -- Thomas Duarte talks about the play of the receivers and how it felt to beat USC again...

Thomas Duarte after USC:

On the receivers against USC:
We're with each other 24/7 so we kind of get to know each other, gotten real close as a group and we're a family now so it's always fun to see each other succeed and catch the ball, make plays and then the best part is the celebration.

On being a Mater Dei kid at UCLA:
I get a lot, today I got I don't know how many text messages saying 'Go SC, Go Trojans' but its all out of fun. UCLA was the place for me and everyone respects that and I made the right decision and I know I did 100%.

On his first catch against USC being for a touchdown:
Being a Southern California kid, it meant the world. Coming in to this game, being a Southern California kid, its personal. You went through the recruiting process, so you know the other team, you know them really well. Playing against them makes it exciting.

On if USC offered him:
They did.

On why they could take advantage of USC's secondary:
A week of preparation. I believe our week of preparation was the best we've ever had. We were dialed in in meetings and the film room, and said to be ready and trusted each other.
