VIDEO: Hundley on Final Game in Rose Bowl

Nov. 28 -- Quarterback Brett Hundley talks about his injury and how disappointing the loss to Stanford was...

Brett Hundley after Stanford:

On the injured finger:
It bruised pretty bad, it got big and you can't do much with it. It got really big, so you hope for the best.

On his performance against Stanford:
We got out-played. It was a big game for us and we didn't do what we had to do. The offense has to be able to run the ball, throw the ball, stay on the field and help our defense out. They played their game, physical, hard, tough-nosed, and did it well and stuffed the run and covered everyone else.

On ending the game on the sideline:
I wanted to stay in, but I couldn't. It hurts. We have one more game. We've done so much since we've been here, we've done a lot in three years. We have another game and another opportunity.

On being in good spirits considering what was at stake:
I can't say we're in the best of spirits. Stuff happens. We didn't come away with a W. We have to figure things out and see where we're at. Its really shocking to say the least. We have high expectations. To put wins together like that and then not come out and do what we had to do, is pretty shocking.

On what its keeping them from the next level:
It all comes down to consistency. We've been able to put together good runs and its all built to this point, but we have to do what we have to do. These are the moments where we have to finish what we started. Getting that mindset that every game is an opportunity to show what we can do.
