VIDEO: Perkins on Getting Over Stanford

Dec. 15 -- Redshirt sophomore running back Paul Perkins talks about the process of getting over the Stanford loss...

Paul Perkins talks about getting over Stanford:

On watching the Pac-12 rushing stats:
I wish I could say I was. My mom let me know. I never really kept track of it. My mom is an advocate of all that stuff.

On getting over the Stanford loss:
I don't get over losses. I lost last night in a video game and I'm still mad. Like Brett was saying, it's supposed to hurt for a while. Our next goal is to take it out on Kansas State.

On if he envisioned the season he had:
I had aspirations for the whole team, for us to win a national championship and go to the next level and be in the top five or top four of the playoff system.

On if its a reasonable goal for next season without Hundley:
The next quarterback is going to have some big shoes to fill. I'm looking forward to seeing the next quarterbacks take that leadership role.

On Kansas State's defense:
I haven't watched film on them yet. I'll start tomorrow.

On how much a bowl win helps missing out the Pac-12 championship:
The Pac-12 championship is a great opportunity to compete for a national championship. A bowl win is nice but it can't make up for the opportunity we have. I didn't watch it (the Pac-12 game) at all.
