Glimmer of Hope with Teuhema

Dec. 31 -- The nation's #1 offensive guard prospect, Maea Teuhema, who is committed to LSU, said there is a possibility he officially visits UCLA...

We spoke with Maea Teuhema, the soft spoken giant out of Keller (Tex.) who is the #1-ranked offensive guard in the nation.

The previous day, when we spoke with Teuhema, he didn't mention UCLA, stating and t he was most likely heading to LSU, where's he's been verbally committed to for about a year, but had some interest in Oklahoma.

After practice Tuesday, when asked about his feelings toward UCLA, Teuhema's face lit up with a smile.

Here's a quick Q&A:

Q- Do you have interest in UCLA?
A- Yeah, I like UCLA. I've been hearing from them a lot lately.

Q- Any chance you are going to take a visit?
A- (the smile comes back) There's a chance I head out there in January. There's definitely a chance. We'll see.

Q-What's your relationship like with UCLA Offensive Line Coach (Adrian) Klemm?
A- I like Coach Klemm a lot. He is a cool guy and we've been talking more lately.

Teuhema the 6-5, 335-pounder, is proving he's one of the top two or three interior linemen in the country here at the Under Armour All-American Game practices, even though he sustained a foot injury Tuesday that didn't look serious. Prior to the injury, he was dominating.
