Leiato Setting Up January Schedule

Jan. 10 -- The Steilacoom (Wash.) linebacker/safety, Fotu Leiato, has two visits set and a third weekend open for a visit...

Steilacoom (Wash.) linebacker/safety Fotu Leiato will have a full slate of in-home visits and official visits in January.

Leiato will get things started on Thursday when UCLA is in for an in-home visit in the afternoon and then Washington State comes by that night.

The next day, he'll leave for his official visit to Washington State.

When he returns, Michigan State and Oklahoma will be in for in-home visits with Oregon also set to drop by.

"Fotu is planning to take visits over the three remaining weekends. The visit to Washington State is set up for January 16-18. Upon returning from Washington State, he will have in-home visits with coaches on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of that week. Based on his meetings with those coaches and his families feelings, he will probably take a trip that weekend to one of those schools.," said Steilacoom assistant coach William Garrow.

The following weekend, January 30th, the final weekend before Signing Day, Leiato will visit UCLA officially.

A commitment, though, could come at any time, with no hard timetable set.

"As far as his commitment goes, he'll just make a commitment when it feels right to him. He's been talking to coaches at all the schools on a pretty regular basis and wants to continue to meet with them and learn more about each school so he's comfortable with his decision," said Garrow.

Leiato got his most recent offer, today, from Illinois.
