“I’m really looking forward to getting out there and checking it out,” said Wilson. “I talk with Coach (Aaron) Roderick all the time and I’m excited for the trip.”
“I know for sure I’m going to Utah this weekend and Boise State next weekend and then UCLA wants me to come in that last weekend for a visit,” said Wilson.
Wilson doesn’t have an offer from the Bruins but said that receivers coach Eric Yarber has kept him up to speed on where he stands.
“Coach Yarbs explained the process and how they have a couple of other receivers ahead of me they’re waiting on,” said Wilson. “I’m trying to see what they will do, but its getting kind of late so I don’t want to wait too long.”
Boise State on the other hand, is making a big push for Wilson.
“Boise State likes me as a receiver and has been recruiting me hard for a while so I’m looking forward to getting out there too,” said Wilson.
Wilson visited Washington State in the fall and the Cougars are very much a factor for him.
“Coach (David) Yost is recruiting me as an outside receiver and they’re definitely in the mix,” said Wilson.
Wilson also visited San Jose State but admitted they’re on the outside looking in.
“They’re kind of out,” said Wilson about the Spartans.
In fact, Wilson said that the three standing out the most were Boise State, Washington State and Utah.
“We’ll see what happens with UCLA but right now, I plan to go on visits these next two weekends and go from there,” said Wilson.
On Thursday, both Boise State and Washington State will be in for in-home visits and then Friday, he’ll leave for his official visit to Utah.
“The visits are key for me,” said Wilson.
