There are numerous reports that Sotonye Jamabo, the #1-ranked running back in the nation, eliminated Texas today.
He had reduced his choices down to two finalists, UCLA and Texas. Therefore, by process of elimination, you could assume UCLA is looking pretty good for the 6-2.5 and 205-pound running back from Plano (Texas) West.
Scout.com's Texas site, Horns Digest, has a report that Jamabo is "out" for the Longhorns.
According to some reports, the five-star prospect called Texas today to tell the Longhorn staff he was no longer considering them.
If UCLA does indeed get Jamabo, it would give the Bruins the the #1 running back and the #1 quarterback (Josh Rosen) in the 2015 national class.
