"I will spend my next four years at the University of California, Los Angeles," Meadors said on Fox Sports West.
Meadors cited a few things in his decision.
"I considered playing time, education and where I felt most comfortable," he said.
He also talked about the UCLA coahing staff.
"I built a great relationship with Coach (Jim) Mora and Coach Demetrice Martin," he said.
Meadors picked UCLA over Oregon, Notre Dame and California.
The talented Meadors came on as a prospect in his senior season, picking up offers from many schools when his senior film got out.
He said UCLA had been his childhood leader and the word was that the Bruins were leading from the time they offered him in December.
Meadors is expected to start out in the secondary at UCLA, but could end up at wide receiver.
