Roquan Smith, the #1 middle linebacker in the country from Montezuma (Ga.) Macon County, announced on Twitter Friday he has committed to Georgia.

Smith was one of the most publicized stories on National Signing Day last Wednesday when he announced his decision to attend UCLA.

He later found out that UCLA Defensive Coordnator and Linebackers Coach Jeff Ulbrich was possibly leaving UCLA and going to Atlanta Falcons. That move was later confirmed, so Smith decided to hold off on signing his National Letter of Intent.

Smith has said he now won't sign an NLI with Georgia, but just a Scholarship Agreement, which binds just the school and not the program.
