Alloway isn't just a talented football player, he's one of the state's top sprinters as well.
"I have a track meet next week and I'm hoping to go 10.6 (100m)," Alloway said. "That's what I ran last year so hopefully I can start the year off where I left off last year. I'm working on getting bigger and stronger right now. I'm 170 right now and I want to get up to 185 by the fall. My goal is to win state this year, that's where my mindset is at right now."
On the recruiting front, Alloway is up to nine offers, after picking up one from California on Monday.
"Right now, UCLA is recruiting me the hardest," Alloway said. "Oregon, USC and Notre Dame are getting involved too and I think they could be close to offering. I'm planning on taking a few unofficial visits and will be at UCLA March 13. I want to check out Arizona State and Notre Dame this summer as well.
"As for official visits, I want to visit Texas A&M, Oregon, LSU, Washington and Cal. My top schools right now are UCLA, Cal, Washington and Utah. I like the West Coast but I'll leave if the right school comes along. I'm planning to run track in college too and all the schools I'm talking with are totally fine with that."
