Los Angeles (Calif.) Verbum Dei athlete Davir Hamilton (6-3, 205) has a handful of offers but the three-star is hoping that more make their way to him.

“I have four offers from Washington State, Oregon State, San Diego State and Utah,” said Hamilton.

A few other schools are staying in regular contact with Hamilton too and he thinks they could be the next few to offer.

“I’m thinking UCLA, Wyoming, Washington and Boise State could be the next offers,” said Hamilton.

The two Arizona schools and UCLA are schools that Hamilton covets offers from.

“I like Arizona and Arizona State a lot, they are good programs,” said Hamilton. “UCLA too, it’s close to home and by my family.”

But Hamilton admits the idea of getting out of Southern California intrigues him.

“I think I’m kind of trying to get away from Los Angeles to try something different,” said Hamilton.

Where he plays in college, position wise, remains to be seen.

“Some schools are recruiting me as a linebacker, some as a receiver, some want me to come in and see my weight and height and recruit me as an athlete,” said Hamilton. “But as long as I get a free education, I’m open to anything. I think it depends on the school and their system.”

Hamilton has been playing 7v7 for GG West and was The Opening Los Angeles last weekend.
