As he headed to the Nike Football Opening Dallas Regional, Allen (Tex.) offensive tackle Greg Little had a goal of earning a coveted invitation to the prestigious final, held in July.
"As a kid, I watched The Opening every summer so I always dreamed about going there. It would be a big accomplishment in my life to go and compete there," he told Scout prior to the camp.
Little, who committed to Texas A&M last summer, said he has some big visit plans for the next few months.
"The first two weeks of June, I'm going to visit the South. Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU. I plan to go there first and knock those out. Then I'm going to come back and go to the West Coast: USC, UCLA, Arizona State. That's my plan for the summer," he said.Little, who has visited A&M plenty of times already since committing, also said he needs to visit Texas again and also check out the local TCU.
"I'll put out a top seven, probably after spring ball in late May," he said.
He also spoke about the latest with the Aggies.
"Things are going pretty good. They have a new coaching staff, so I need to get familiar with them, their new offensive line coach. That's basically where we are right now," he said.
