White Visiting Next Month

Concord (Calif.) De La Salle 2017 cornerback Tre White (5-10, 165) figures to be one of the top DBs in NorCal in his class.

White has been playing for Kenion Training's 7v7 squad this spring, as part of a loaded secondary there, with a number of 2016 prospects, but he's more than held his own.

On the recruiting front, White has visited a few Pac-12 schools and plans to revisit a couple of them.

"I went to Cal's Junior Day and it was great," said White. "It was a great atmosphere and I like how everything was presented. Coach (Greg) Burns is the one who I talked with."

Last spring, White visited both UCLA and USC and he'll do so again next month.

"I went down to UCLA and USC last spring and I liked them both a lot," said White. "We're going back down there again (in April) to check them out."

San Jose State has also been recruiting White.

"San Jose State has been talking to me a lot and they want me to go to their camp," said White. "Cal wants me to go to their camp too."

Last fall, White helped lead the Spartans to the CIF State Open Division title.
