Taylor Checks Out UCLA

Apr. 2 -- The Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco 2017 four-star cornerback, Keith Taylor, took in UCLA's Thursday practice...

Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco 2017 four-star cornerback Keith Taylor grew up watching UCLA and has been to the campus a number of times.

But Taylor got to take in a practice on Spaulding Field for the first time on Thursday.

"I really enjoyed it at UCLA," said Taylor. "I liked how fast paced the practice was. Everything was real efficient. I loved the energy of how the practice was. It was my first time being to to a practice there but I've been to the school multiple times."

Taylor is being recruited by defensive backs coach Demetrice Martin, but until Thursday, he hadn't met him in person.

"I finally got a chance to meet the DB coach, Coach Martin, and I like him so far," said Taylor. "He didn't say anything about an offer but he just said he was going to be watching me over the course of time."

Taylor got to watch his Bosco teammate, Josh Rosen, practice with the Bruins and also spoke with another former Bosco defensive back, Jaleel Wadood.

"I did not get a chance to talk to Josh but I did catch up with Jaleel so that was cool," said Taylor.

Taylor said he didn't have any other plans for visiting schools but plans to be back at UCLA during the spring.

The early four-star is eager for the evaluation period.

"Its been a little slow, but I know coaches will be watching me," said Taylor.
