“I’ve been talking with UCLA and Coach (Angus) McClure a lot and he said they were going to watch me this spring,” said Moore. “He wanted me to come down there and check them out so I went down there on Saturday.”
Moore enjoyed his time watching the team practice too.
“I liked it, really everything there,” said Moore. “I was on the field talking to Coach McClure and watching things. It was nice. Coach McClure just said they want to see me when we start spring ball, but I think an offer could be close.”
“We went up to Fresno State for their Junior Day and it was nice,” said Moore. “Their facilities were really nice and I got to talk to the coaches. I like their defensive fronts they use.”
Washington State has been high on Moore for a while.
“I’d like to take a visit to Washington State,” said Moore. “Coach Joe (Salave’a) is recruiting me and I actually like him a lot. He’s a nice coach.”
Moore has visited USC during the spring, but isn’t hearing much from the Trojans right now.
And Colorado is watching him closely.
“I talk with Colorado a lot and they’ll be down in the spring,” said Moore.
He knows the spring will be big for him.
“I’m pretty sure some coaches just want to check me out and see my size,” said Moore. “I have a lot of confidence this is going to be a big year for me. I’m going to every camp I can. With coaches traveling out here for camps, I’m going to everyone I can go to.”
Moore doesn’t want to rush through the recruiting process.
“I’d like to take all five of my official visits and probably visit schools beyond California,” said Moore.
Moore admitted playing nearby would be nice.
“I think my family would like to watch me play close by and I would actually like that,” said Moore.
Moore will take the SAT in May.
