UCLA Trip ‘Likely’ for Farrar

Apr. 28 -- Scout.com has an update with 2017 Houston offensive lineman Will Farrar...

2017 Richmond (Tex.) Travis offensive lineman Will Farrar is already garnering plenty of attention from schools around the country, and he's in the process of sorting through which schools he'll want to visit. One that he's pretty sure that he wants to visit is UCLA, where he visited last summer. The Bruins haven't offered, so that will be a goal of Farrar's on the trip.
A year after visiting for the first time, he is going to not only look, but evaluate.

“I was in LA last summer at a UCLA camp. At that time, I didn’t get to see as much as I wanted,” Farrar said. “Now, I want to get down there and see what it is all about.”

So far, the 6-foot-4, 295-pound Farrar has been through a variety of visits to assess different schools. To date, he’s visited Texas A&M (3 times), Baylor, Texas, Oklahoma (twice), LSU, Alabama and Houston.

With UCLA, Farrar is simply awaiting an offer that he feels will come sooner rather than later. He said that the coaching staff has expressed to him a number of times how much they like him, and how they'll probably offer soon.

“The coaches have told me that they love my game. They said they see an offer for me in the future,” Farrar said. “My primary recruiter was (assistant) coach Adrian Klemm, but lately, I have been talking to the assistant offensive line coach since he (Klemm) is on suspension.”

Already, Farrar has offers from Arizona State, Utah, Missouri and Colorado State, with UCLA, Louisville and Florida State being a couple of the other programs looking to check in on him this spring.

When in LA, he has a few things he will be looking for.

“I want to get a feel for the UCLA coaches and a feel for the campus. I really hope to get an offer while I am there,” Farrar said. “My family and I are on vacation so we will be down for a week.”
