Three Big Offers For Moretti

Apr. 30 -- 2017 Colorado offensive tackle Jake Moretti has already earned an offer from UCLA...

It would be tough to beat the day that 2017 Pomona offensive tackle Jake Moretti had earlier this week.

The 6-5 275 pound tackle pulled in three giant offers as Nebraska, UCLA and national champion Ohio State all jumped into the Moretti sweepstakes.

"It's crazy," Moretti said. "It still kind of hasn't sunk in."

The early four-star is more humble despite his ever-growing and very impressive offer sheet. Every conversation with the talented lineman seems to turn back to him giving credit to his Pomona coaches and teammates.

In fact, he's so focused on his team and getting ready for the upcoming season that he's even putting recruiting on the back burner heading into the summer.

"I'm still not really sure (if I'll attend any camps this year)," Moretti said, when asked whether he would attend any team camps in June or July. "I've got to make sure they don't interrupt any of my team's stuff."

Reviewing film of Moretti it is easy to see why the tackle is gaining offers from the nation’s top programs. The athletic tackle can run block, pass block, pull and get down field. He also flashes a nice mean streak, despite his outwardly humble nature, and seems to relish the opportunity to push his opponents into the ground..

With programs like Nebraska, UCLA, and Ohio State now on board, it shouldn't be long before the four-star tackle is among the most coveted prospects in the 2017 class.
