Priest Willis to Transfer

Jun. 1 -- The junior cornerback, Priest Willis, will leave UCLA after the quarter...

UCLA junior cornerback Priest Willis will transfer from UCLA at the end of the quarter, sources have told Bruin Report Online.

The former five-star from Tempe (Ariz.) Marcos De Niza signed with UCLA in the class of 2013, but admissions issues delayed his enrollment until right before fall camp, instead of before the summer quarter and he never quite got on track.

Bruin Report Online has heard that one possible destination for Willis could be North Carolina.

Willis played in nine games as a true freshman, recording nine tackles and played in 12 as a 2014 sophomore, starting one game and had 22 tackles, including a career-best seven against Arizona State in his hometown.

He will still have a redshirt season available.
