UCLA Offers Jean Delance

Jul. 2 -- The four-star Texas offensive tackle was one of Adrian Klemm's first offers upon his return...

Jean Delance is one of the most sought-after prospects in Texas for the 2016 recruiting cycle with an offer list that includes about 30 programs.

The former Oklahoma pledge said his Tuesday afternoon offer from UCLA came via offensive line coach Adrian Klemm. Despite being on vacation, he took a little time Wednesday afternoon to update Scout on how the discussion went.

"Talked a good while," Delance said. "Talked about really just humanly values that he can help me with. Just being a great OT but also a man."

In addition to the Bruins, Delance holds offers from schools such as Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Texas, Texas A&M, and more than 20 others from across the nation.

A little more than a month ago, Delance released a top nine of Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, USC, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Texas, and Texas A&M.

Scout ranks Delance as the No. 3 offensive tackle in Texas and the No. 128 overall recruit in the 2016 Scout 300. His height and length give him fantastic frame potential for additional bulk once he gets to the next level. He wears his size very well and is athletic and light on his feet for such a large teenager.

Check back with Scout as we continue to track Delance's recruitment.
