Jul. 13 -- The four-star athlete has UCLA in his final seven after narrowing his list...

One of Arizona's top prospects, four-star athlete Chase Lucas from Chandler High School, has narrowed his list of colleges down.

Prior to yesterday, Lucas (6-0 175) hauled in offers from Texas, Louisville, Washington State, Montana, Colorado, Nebraska, UCLA, Washington, Cal, Utah State, Utah, Notre Dame, Arizona, Oregon State and Arizona State.

Lucas named a top seven in no particular order of UCLA, Arizona State, Washington, Texas, Arizona, Nebraska and Notre Dame

He does add that he would still be open to other programs that may not have offered yet. Schools that could jump into his finalists if they were to offer are Texas A&M and Oregon.

Lucas was dynamic last year for the Wolves, helping them win the D1 state title. He rushed for 1,126 yards and 13 TDs, caught 28 passes for 368 yards and 3 scores and returned a kick off 99 yards for a score. He could play on either side of the ball in college as he also has excellent cover skills at corner.
