UCLA Picked Third in Pac-12 South

USC was picked to win the Pac-12 conference in the preseason Pac-12 media poll that was released at Pac-12 Media Days on Thursday.

The Trojans earned 21 of 45 votes, with Oregon receiving the next most at 17 votes.

UCLA was picked to finish third in the Pac-12 South, with just six members of the media selecting the Bruins first in the division. UCLA received two first-place votes in the conference overall.

Arizona State was picked second in the South division, and earned seven votes for first place in the division.

The media has correctly picked the conference champion in 12 of the last 15 years, but in just 29 of 54 polls overall.

This is the first time USC has been selected tow in the conference since 2012, when the Trojans finished the year 7-6.
