VIDEO: Randall Goforth on UCLA Secondary

Aug. 17 -- The safety talks about his year off and being back in live drills...

Randall Goforth:

On no longer wearing the red no-contact jersey:
It feels good to be back full go. I'm ready to run.

On being in pads and hitting guys:
It felt like I'm back at home. I pride myself on tackling. To finally get back out there and work on my craft, I'm trying to get better. I'm very competitive and trying to come out here and competing.

On taking on a leadership role:
I'd say its a product of being older and seeing everything from the outside. Seeing my teammates grow. Just trying to lead my team and do the best I can and do my part.

On the freshman:
They're way ahead of their time. They're looking well. Everyone in the group is looking good, Colin Samuel, DeChaun Holiday, they're working hard and getting better everyday.

On the chemistry:
The chemistry is always there because we hang out of the field. Its just like playing streetball with the guys, but within the frame of our defense.
