Adewale Omotosho, a 6-foot-2, 189-pound wide receiver from Plano (Texas) East is rated as a Scout four-star prospect, one of the top overall prospects in the Dallas area and for that matter the state of Texas.
He could be set for a breakout season in 2015.
We caught up with the talented receiver at the Plano East Media Day on Saturday and got the scoop as he heads into the start of his senior season.
On the recruiting front, he is heavily recruited, securing offers from over 30 programs, the most recent being from Nebraska and the Big 10.
Omotosho would like to take his time with the recruiting process and take all five of his official visits. He has not yet named a Top 5 yet, but did name 10 schools of high interest at the Texas State 7v7: Arkansas, California, Maryland, Oklahoma State, SMU, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, UCLA, Utah, and Washington.
As far as official visits are concerned, he has not yet scheduled any of them, but he has his eyes on making stops at Cal, UCLA, and UCF.
Closer to home he has offers from schools like Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Arkansas, SMU and Oklahoma State, who will all be playing a factor in his recruitment.
Omotosho is looking for a program with strong academics (Business Marketing as a potential major), and a family atmosphere along with an opportunity to develop his skill to have a chance to play in the NFL.
As a junior in 2014, Omotosho pulled in 31 receptions for 582 yards and four touchdowns.
