Scrimmage Clips: UCLA Target Theo Howard

Aug. 24 -- We get our first glimpse of the receiver for the 2015 season from a Westlake scrimmage...

Westlake Village (Calif.) Westlake's Theo Howard is the #7-ranked wide receiver prospect in the nation and one of UCLA's top targets.

It was a big development when he decommitted from Oregon last Sunday -- and then got in a car with his mother and visited UCLA's practice in San Bernardino Monday morning.

He said in this recent interview he also plans to visit USC, that Oregon isn't out of it, and that he had recently heard from Arizona State, Washington State, Texas A&M and Arizona.

The word is that Howard, who wants to enroll early at the school of his choice, intends to make a decision sometime in September. Sources close to the recruitment indicate Howard prefers to stay close to home, and currently favors UCLA over USC.

Westlake scrimmaged Camarillo Friday night, and Howard played less than a half. But the above are highlights from that scrimmage.
