Terrell Bynum is one of the top pass catchers in the junior class and is currently rated the No. 59 player in the Scout 100.
Bynum is one of the quickest receivers in the state and runs very well after the catch. He has good hands, can get behind a defense and is working hard on his blocking and overall strength to round out his game.
On the recruiting front, Bynum could make a decision next summer before his senior year and plans to be active on the visit front this fall.
“Coach Pease and Coach Petersen at Washington are coming pretty hard,” Bynum said. “Notre Dame might be my next offer and I’m hoping to get one from California as well. I’ve been talking to Coach Peeler at Cal and building that relationship.
“I have a great relationship with Coach Yarber at UCLA and Coach Martin at USC. I always enjoy talking with them and they always make me feel welcome. They want me at as many games and practices as possible and I obviously have high interest in both programs.”
As for visits, Bynum has a few schools in mind.
“We play De La Salle during our pre-season and I’m going to visit Cal for their with San Diego State that weekend,” Bynum said. “I’m going to try and get to Washington for their game with Oregon and I really want to visit Notre Dame for a game too.
“Other than that, I’m just trying to focus on my season and have the best year possible. Our team is coming along and I think we’re going to be good, we’re further along right now than I thought we would be. We have a tough schedule but it’s exciting to play against the best and I can’t wait to get started.”
