Virginia currently has the most top 100 commitments with four. Mamadi Diakite is their highest rated recruit. At 6-9, he's an impressive athlete that plays with great energy. Ty Jerome and Kyle Guy will boost their guard from both a skill and shooting standpoint. Then you have jay Huff, Scout's No. 88 player, and he will bring good size and skill to their post play.

Lorenzo Romar went to the opposite coast to snag one of the best guards in the country -- Markelle Fultz. At 6-4, he's an athletic slasher with an improviing jump shot. Sam Timmins is a 6-foot-9 New Zealand native that won a Gold Medal this past summer in the FIBA 3x3 tournament

Michigan State has a pair of top 50 recruits, both of which will help immediately. Josh Langford is a tremendous scoring threat from the perimeter, while Nick Ward is an active rebounder and scorer in the paint.

It's just one commitment, but it's a big one. Duke has the highest rated pledge of the class thus far with Scout's No. 3 Jayson Tatum. At 6-8, he's a terrific all around scorer with an impressive skill set.

Kentucky will likely finish much higher on this list when things are said and done. But for now they have the 7th best class. Sacha Killeya-Jones is a skilled 6-10 big man, while Tai Wynyard, of New Zealand, is a strong, tough & physical center prospect. If Wynyard was playing in the U.S. he'd be considered a top 50 prospect.

The NCAA issues haven't impacted Syracuse on the recruiting trail. Jim Boeheim and his staff have reeled in five-star perimeter scorer Tyus Battle and versatile forward Matt Moyer, giving them a pair of top 100 recruits in the class.

Oklahoma is off to a strong start in 2016. Kameron McGusty is one of the best scorers in the class and even led the Under Armour Association in scoring. While Matt Freeman doesn't have a ranking because he's from New Zealand, he is rated as a four-star prospect and can stretch the floor with his jump shot. Talented wing Kristian Doolitte rounds out their current class.

Bruce Pearl reeled in a pair of top 100 recruits in 2015 and he's off to a great start in 2016 with five-star wing Mustapha Heron, four-star PG Jared Harper and active and aggressive PF Anfernee McLemore. Heron is the crown jewel of the class and is one the best perimeter scorers in the country.

Oregon has focused on Northwest recruits in 2016 with Keith Smith, a Washington native, and Payton Pritchard, of Oregon. Smith is a gifted scorer with very good size for the perimeter, while Pritchard is a crafty, aggressive combo guard that shoots the ball at a high-level.

Last year Billy Kennedy built a top 10 class by recruiting the state of Texas and he's up to similar tricks in 2016. Robert Williams is an emerging PF prospect with serious athleticism, while J.J. Caldwell is one the best set up men in 2016. Both are top 60 prosepcts out of the state of Texas.

Avery Johnson didn't waste much time creating a stir in Tuscaloosa. Terrance Ferguson, Scout's No. 13 player, is Alabama's highest rated recruit since Richard Hendrix back in 2005. At 6-6, Ferguson has the size, athleticism and shooting ability to be a force in the SEC.

Patrick Chambers and his staff have ramped up their recruiting efforts and getting a player like Tony Carr, a top 50 prospect, is a big deal. He'll be handed the ball from day one, as he's terrific PG prospect with good size, speed, athleticism and ball handling ability.

There's a lot to like about Omari Spellman. At 6-8 he's equipped to score in a variety of ways. He has very good hands and touch and is just as comfortable facing the rim for jumpers, as he is trying to score with his back to it. The five-star prospect is currently Villanova's only pledge of the class.

Kevin Ollie has had success with guards as of late and Alterique Gilbert will be the next in line at Uconn. A fast, tough and gritty guard, Gilbert can run a team, is equipped to score when needed and is a scrappy on the ball defender. Momadou Diarra gives them a tough, hard playing post prospect.
