Highlights: UCLA Prospect Devin Asiasi

Sep. 2 -- Scout provides highlights of 2016 four-star Devin Asiasi, the West's top tight end, during his team's season-opener.

Euless (Texas) Trinity prevailed 26-21 on Saturday against Concord (Calif.) De La Salle, but Devin Asiasi up to expectations.

Asiasi, the No. 124 overall propsect in the 2016 Scout 300, dominated at times from his defensive end position, teaming with 2016 four-star tackle Boss Tagaloa and 2018 tackle Tuli Letuligasenoa to give De La Salle a formidable defensive front.

Asiasi made multiple tackles for loss and batted down a pass that he almost picked off, all of which can be seen in the above video (Asiasi wears No. 16).

Asiasi also played his usual tight end role, where he helped De La Salle three-star prospect Antoine Custer rush for more than 100 yards, while also catching one pass for 14 yards.

Schools such as USC, UCLA, and Alabama are considered some of the top contenders for Asiasi.
