Major college programs know all about 2016 four-star prospects Boss Tagaloa and Devin Asiasi, but if Saturday's season-opener was any indication, they'll also soon know about 2018 defensive tackle Tuli Letuligasenoa.
The 6-foot-2, 285-pouned Letuligasenoa made several tackles from his even-front tackle spot during De La Salle's 26-21 loss to Texas power Euless Trinity this past Saturday. The video above features highlights of the promising young defender's 2015 season-opening performance.
Letuligasenoa combines good size with obvious strength that helped him back up traffic on numerous occasions. His motor runs high and he plays for one of the nation's most well-known high school programs, so he should get plenty of exposure in the coming weeks and months as his sophomore season progresses.
Playing against the power running game of Trinity, Letuligasenoa was able to disengage a few times to make plays on the ball-carrier, an encouraging display considering his youth. With Tagaloa and Asiasi also playing on De La Salle's four-man front, Letuligasenoa should get ample opportunities in 1-on-1 situations against opposing offensive linemen.
By the time his junior season rolls around he will very likely be the focal point of opponents' offensive line scheming. For more on Letuligasenoa, check out the video below.
