On the first drive:
I thought it just sets the tone of the game. You have to start fast, start sharp, and get off to the right foot.
On avoiding contact:
Usually I’m pretty good about sliding, it’s just in some plays instincts take over. I definitely have to work on it.
On his game:
I just felt connected. My feet were a little more calm in the pocket and we just linked up like we didn’t last week.
On the first Pac-12 game:
I couldn’t hear anything. During the first quarter I couldn’t hear a word. I had to grab my lineman’s helmet and screamed into his ear.
