***Game of the Week:*** Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw vs. Los Angeles (Calif.) Dorsey

Westlake (Calif.) vs. Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian

The Marmonte League title is on the line and Westlake bragging rights are too.  And the game has added intrigue with the return of Oaks coach Jim Benkert to Westlake HS, where he coached for 26 years.  An Oaks win puts the Lions at 10-0 before the playoffs start and in position for a potential top 4 seed in the Pac-5.  They’re lead by new UCLA quarterback offer Matt Corral, a 2018 four-star as well as former UCLA commit Michael Pittman, the USC commit the Bruins are trying to flip back.  UCLA also offered 2017 tight end Colby Parkinson last weekend from Oaks.   Westlake, of course, has new UCLA verbal Theo Howard, but he is out with a concussion, which makes the Warriors challenge that much tougher.

Bishop Amat has UCLA commit Chris Gaston anchoring the secondary and a pair of USC commits in Tyler Vaughns and Trevon Sidney.  Loyola, with Stanford commit David Long and UCLA target Myles Bryant, as well as new 2017 running back offeree Drake Beasley, continue to plug along this season.  The winner has an outside chance at a co-Mission League title but worst case gets the #2 seed out of the league.

Long Beach (Calif.) Poly vs. Long Beach (Calif.) Millikan

The Jackrabbits are led by five-star athlete Jack Jones who plays receiver and defensive back as well as 2017 linebacker Joshua Brown, Jayon's younger brother and 2018 safety Cameron McDonald, who UCLA offered in September. UCLA commit Breland Brandt will lead Windward in his final prep game.
