Pac-12 Possibility for Speedy WR Jordan Chin

Nov. 16 -- West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade wide out Jordan Chin has put together a very solid senior season and colleges are starting to take notice...

We had a chance to see Eagle receiver Jordan Chin over the spring/summer on the 7v7 circuit and liked his speed and ability to stretch the field.

Chin is among the fastest receivers out West and is getting looks in track and football. In eight games this year, he has caught 35 balls for 583 yards and five touchdowns. In a week 10 upset win over Serra last weekend, Chin came up huge with 10 catches for 154 yards and a touchdown.

The receiver has seen his recruitment pick up recently and he landed his third offer on Tuesday.

"San Diego State offered me," Chin said. "I'm going to try and visit in January and I'm definitely excited about that one. I also have offers from Eastern Washington and Wyoming.

"I'm visiting Wyoming (Dec. 12) and I'm going to visit Eastern Washington in January too but I don't remember the exact date. UCLA is also recruiting me really hard right now and I talk to Coach Yarber a lot. I'm just staying patient right now but it sounds like they could be close to offering."

Chin is an intriguing prospect with a nice upside. He has a long, athletic frame and can really run. He was on the Eagles state championship 4X100 relay team and his arrow as a receiver is definitely pointing upward.
