The Cavaliers are always loaded and the junior class has multiple players that will be BCS level prospects. Linebacker Tysyn Parker shows up well on film and should be a national recruit this spring.
We've seen Parker multiple times this year and he has always impressed. He'll be a three year starter for the Cavs and is playing with a lot more confidence and aggressiveness than he did as a sophomore.
He has a solid frame and continues to grow, runs well, is a solid tackler and is comfortable playing in space, covering a back or tight end or blitzing the quarterback.
On the recruiting front, Parker is still waiting for his first offer to roll in but we expect he'll have several by the summer.
"Duke and UCLA are recruiting me the hardest right now," Parker said. "I'm also hearing from Cal, Utah and Washington. Duke is probably recruiting me the hardest right now and looks like they could be closest to offering. UCLA is showing a lot of interest as well and I have high interest there.
"I definitely want to try and get out to Duke for a visit in the spring or summer if I can. I would like to see Washington and Utah too. I want to do some summer camps to some schools outside the area and Utah and Washington are a couple I would love to check out."
Parker, who also holds a 4.4 GPA is an early four-star prospect in the 2017 class. Check out his junior highlights above.
