Corona (Calif.) Centennial receiver Javon McKinley is this week's Scout National Recruit of the Week.
The No. 9 receiver nationally by Scout, McKinley has been one of the most productive receivers in the country the past two years, playing for the high-powered Husky offense that earned the top seed in the challenging Pac-5 playoffs.
After winning the CIF-SS title last year, Centennial got everyone's best shot this year, and still teams scuffled to stop McKinley.
The No. 49 overall prospect in 2016, McKinley and Centennial routed Chaminade, 70-29, in the first round of the CIF-SS playoffs, with McKinley catching three passes for 59 yards in a little over a half of play.
The four-star receiver had six catches for 174 yards and a touchdown last week to help the Huskies clinch the Big VIII title.
He also added a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and then a 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
After the game, McKinley headed to Oregon for his fourth official visit and enjoyed his time in Eugene.
The U.S. Army All-American has previously visited Washington, Tennessee and Notre Dame and will visit UCLA next month.
On the field and on the recruiting trail gives McKinley this week's honor of national recruit of the week.
