UCLA freshman center Fred Ulu-Perry is transferring out of the program, and, according to sources, he has been granted his release to the University of Hawaii.
Ulu-Perry has been in Hawaii for two weeks, having left for home before the end of the regular season.
That was the second time that Ulu-Perry left the program, having left early on in the season as well.
Ulu-Perry played both offensive and defensive line for UCLA this year, as well as a little bit of short yardage fullback, and was projected to be a starter next year with the obvious loss of Jake Brendel and potential loss of Alex Redmond.
If he ends up going to Hawaii, UCLA could see him on the field again, as the Bruins play Hawaii during the 2017 season.
