Anaheim (Calif.) Servite defensive back Keyon Riley (6-3, 195), has three schools that will get an official visit from him in January.
Riley will visit Colorado State, Washington and UCLA next month.
"It's mostly those three schools for me," said Riley. "I can say that if Notre Dame or Stanford were to come in, it would be open to them, but right now, it's pretty much closed between those three schools."
Riley has locked in two of the visits and the third is tentatively set.
"I'm going to Colorado State on January 23rd and UCLA on January 30th," said Riley. "And then Washington, we're trying to lock that in for the week right after the dead period ends (January 16th)."
UCLA has the hometown edge for Riley.
"UCLA is recruiting me the hardest," said Riley. "Coach Meat (Demetrice Martin) is the one recruiting me. I went to three games this year at the Rose Bowl."
Colorado State has a trio of coaches pushing for Riley.
"Coach (Mike) Bobo, Coach (Jeff) Hammerschmidt and Coach (Terry) Fair are recruiting me," said Riley. "Coach Fair and Coach Hammerschmidt are the main ones."
The Huskies were one of his earliest offers and they continue to be in on him.
"Coach (Jimmie) Lake is recruiting me and Coach Pete (Chris Petersen) too, but it's mostly Coach Lake," said Riley.
With an official visit set for the final weekend before Signing Day, Riley's decision will come around then.
"After I take the last visit, I'll make my decision," said Riley.
Riley said his family is good with whatever he chooses to do.
"At first, they were pushing me to go out of state, but now they just want me to go to the school that best fits me," said Riley.
Riley can play either corner or safety, and said he's comfortable at either spot, but he'll play whatever the school he picks decides is best for him.
"I plan on playing my freshman year, so I am looking for the school that will get me on the field the quickest at whatever position they need," said Riley.
