College Football Recruiting: Top 10 ILBs in the Class of 2016

Dec. 21 -- The Race to National Signing Day continues with a breakdown of the top 10 inside linebackers in the 2016 class...

1. Ben Davis, Gordo (Ala.)

The nation's top inside linebacker named a top five of AlabamaAuburnGeorgiaLSU and Notre Dame and he'll announce on National Signing Day.

2. Lyndell Wilson, Montgomery (Ala.) Carver

The No. 2 inside linebacker also has a top five, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU and USC.

3. Jaquan Yulee, Chesapeake (Va.) Indian River

The Tide are in on the top two inside linebackers, both from in-state, but already have a commitment from No. 3, going into Virginia to get Yulee.

4. Dontavious Jackson, Houston (Texas) Alief Elsik

The top linebacker in Texas has already officially visited Florida StateMichigan and UCLA and the in-state schools, Texas and Texas A&M will try to get him to stay in-state with January visits.

5. Lokeni Toailoa, Rialto (Calif.) Carter

The top inside 'backer in the West already signed his early enrollment papers with UCLA and he'll be on campus next month after the Under Armour All-America Game.

6. Krys Barnes, Bakersfield (Calif.) Liberty

Barnes will team with Toailoa, who he lined up next to all spring on the 7v7 circuit, at UCLA, as one of the best 1-2 linebacker punches in the Pac-12.

7. Shaquille Quarterman, Orange Park (Fla.) Oakleaf

Despite the coaching turnover at Miami, Quarterman has never wavered in his commitment to the 'Canes, staying committed for a year and a half.

8. Tre Lamar, Roswell (Ga.)

The top inside backer in Georgia committed to Clemson before the season and has stayed solid to the No. 1 team in the country.

9. Griffin Grady, Dublin (Ohio) Coffman

Grady is the top inside linebacker in the Midwest and was a big get for Wisconsin when he chose the Badgers in the summer.

10. David Reese, Farmington (Mich.)

The four-star linebacker picked Florida earlier on Friday over Nebraska, TCU and Texas.
