Two-way standout Brandon Burton was expected to announce his college commitment via bleacher report video over the weekend but he has since decided to move it back.
Burton was down to Florida State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma and UCLA with the Noles or Bruins the most likely destination. UCLA appeared to be the the team to beat but FSU is now back in the mix.
"I wanted to make sure Coach Mora was staying at UCLA," Burton said. "I talked to him this morning and he said he wasn't going anywhere and is happy at UCLA. I'm going to take an official visit there (Jan. 30) and then probably make a decision on Signing Day.
"I'm still looking hard at Florida State too and my parents are going to go take an unofficial visit out there. We don't have a set date yet but that will happen. Then I'll probaby release another video around Signing Day but we'll see, I'm just going to play it out."
Burton is currently rated the No. 123 player nationally and could play safety or receiver in college. He said both UCLA and FSU are recruiting him as an athlete and will give him an opportunity to play on both sides of the ball.
