According to La Mirada coach Mike Moschetti, several programs have already reached out and shown interest in Saleapaga.
"USC has a new staff now so it was a mutual thing," Moschetti said. "He's getting a ton of interest right now from schools all over the country.
"I've heard from Oklahoma, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Georgia, Colorado and UCLA. He's in the process of setting a visit to South Carolina and UCLA is coming by the school as soon as the dead period is over."
Saleapaga had a strong senior season and helped lead the Matadores to a CIF and State Championship. He's a big, phsyical defensive end with a non-stop motor and plays with a ton of energy. He's still raw in some areas as he's relatively new to football but when you look at his size and athleticism, the upside is there.
"He's a great kid from a great family," Moschetti said. "He plays hard, he plays hurt, he does whatever we ask from him. He's working hard in the classroom and is going to be a full qualifier so everything will work out just fine for him."null
